The snow storm of December 9 & 10, 2009 left some interesting sights. I thought I’d share them with you.
This is just the way it ended up. Sculpted into a free form wave suspended between the grill and the house.
Where the trees were protected snow would pile up into natural decorations.
Wind sculpted snow drifts formed behind tree lines in amounts we have not seen in several years.
This is the way I like to see a corn field when the snow is done blowing.
Unfortunately some of my neighbors fields look like this.
It’s going to take a major effort to get through this snow to get the corn out. The corn under the snow will wait until spring, if it’s even harvestable then.
While all of this happens my gold fish are content to swim in the pond near their heater. They don’t care about snow, just enough water to keep moving in.
