This is not the spring weather I ordered. We have temperatures in the 30′s this morning and a freeze warning for tomorrow morning.
Here in southwestern Minnesota we avoided the snow, the folks in northern Minnesota were not so lucky. Areas from Duluth and west report 3 plus inches of snow. We had about four tenths of an inch of rain.
My in-laws had planned to open the cabin near Grand Rapids, MN this weekend. Those plans were cancelled. No one wants to visit when the snow is falling.
Next weekend is the fishing opener. Minnesota residents will be out to catch our state fish, the walleye. Weather is expected to be warmer next weekend, but the water will still be very cold. I’ll stick to southern lakes.
