Could it be rain?

The forecast for the next several days is wet, yes, wet.  Temperatures are going to stay above, but near, freezing, which will allow for a slow melt.  Rain may speed up that melt.  Either way it will be a welcome change from the snowy winter we’ve had.

The last few days have really gotten a good start on melting the snow.  Snow covered roads have turned to slush.  Bits of plant material, and even black spots, are appearing in the fields

I have just one question.  Do we need to start building an ark, or just move to higher ground?
