I worked the Farm Safety exhibit at the Lamberton Experiment Station today.  About 200 fourth grade students from the area were there to see safety and educational demonstrations.

We talked about machinery and where and when you were safe.  Some demonstrations on what could happen in augers, belts, pulleys, chains and many other moving machine parts were taught.  Also grain bin, wagon and truck safety demonstrations were done.

We also talked about places it was safe to play and be on a farm site.  The Cottonwood County Farm Bureau was proud to play a part in keeping our kids safe.
